In this context, this Privacy Notice covers the processing of your personal data carried out via the “Cleverear” Application (“Mobile App”) and all related technology used to access or otherwise use the Mobile App as described below.
The processing of your personal data complies with the Law on Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK Law”) in our country.
This Privacy Notice may be updated from time to time. In such cases, we will inform you that this Privacy Notice has been modified, and the “last updated” date at the top of this document will be changed. We recommend that you periodically review the latest version of this Privacy Notice.
WHO WE ARE
Eartechnic, founded in 1972 in Kreuztal, has been manufacturing hearing aids under three brands – Earnet, Helix Hearing, and Anaton – using the most modern technology since 2001.
PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT AND USE
General Data Collection
We do not collect personal data such as names, email addresses, or other personally identifiable information from users of the Cleverear Mobile App.
Location Data
Our Mobile App Cleverear may access your location data to provide location-based features and optimize your hearing experience.
We collect and use location data for the following purposes:
- To optimize the functionality of your Hearing Device (HD).
- To enhance user experience by providing location-based hearing settings.
- (If applicable) To ensure connectivity with nearby hearing devices or accessories.
We do not store your precise location data or share it with third parties for marketing or tracking purposes. Location data is processed only within the app to improve its functionality.
If you do not want the app to access your location data, you can disable location permissions in your device settings.
